AI Consulting in Thunder Bay

Thunder Bay is the largest city in northwestern Ontario, with an economy built on forestry, transportation and the Great Lakes port, health care and education.

The relevant national figure here is the geographic one. Statistics Canada measured urban business AI adoption at 21.0% against 9.9% rural in the second quarter of 2026. That is not a technology gap. Software costs the same in Thunder Bay as in Toronto. It is an access-to-advice gap, and it is the reason I quote the same prices here as anywhere else in the province.

Distance is the constraint worth automating against

When your customers, suppliers or crews are hours apart, the expensive failures are coordination failures: the truck that arrives before the paperwork, the site visit that happens without the right part, the enquiry that waits until somebody is back in cell range.

Those are scheduling and document routing problems, which is workflow automation in the $3,000 to $8,000 band. They are worth more here than the same build is worth in the Golden Horseshoe, because a wasted trip costs a day rather than an hour.

The remote work advantage

Nearly all of this work is done remotely and priced identically regardless of where you are. The exception is process capture, where watching the work matters more than describing it.
