Enquiry volume is the whole problem

A hospitality business here answers the same questions thousands of times in season and almost never out of season. Parking, accessibility, check-in times, what is included, whether the thing is open in the rain. Every one is answerable from information that already exists on the website.

That is the textbook case for a grounded answer agent, and it is one of the few situations where I recommend the customer-facing build before the internal one, because the volume genuinely justifies it and the answers are stable.

The pricing constraint is the one that matters: it must cost almost nothing in February. Consumption pricing beats per-seat pricing for a seasonal business even where the per-seat product is better, and quoting that correctly means asking about your season before your systems.

The staffing cycle

Seasonal employers post more jobs than anybody and hire in concentrated bursts. If you employ 25 or more people on the day a posting goes up, Ontario has required since January 1, 2026 that the posting say whether AI is used to screen, assess or select applicants.
